AuDHD - getting to know your tidal system

Following on from my previous article about the tidal system of AuDHD (article focusing on impact of ADHD medication), I felt drawn to continuing this theme. How would you describe your neurodivergent tidal patterns? I have curated some imagery below along with some questions to use for reflection in journalling or just while you're having a quiet moment.

What coves & bays does your autistic part retreat into when the ADHD part pushes forward?

How does the ADHD part feel at night time when the autistic part wants to rest?

What draws you in as an anchor to bridge the gap between autistic & ADHD attention?

Where can you find space in between the tides to tune into what your body needs in that moment?

I invite you to pause and enjoy the images, see what comes up for you and what you might like to change in your day to day AuDHD rhythm of life.
